The Standard
Elite is a responsibility. We assess the whole Operator: the thinking, the execution, the impact, and the character behind it. Every place is earned.
Craft. Impact. Discipline. Contribution. Character.
Different crafts demand different evidence. Exceptional work answers to the same five principles.
Craft / 30% of the evaluation
Sharp judgment. Precise execution. Depth you can see in the work.
Exceptional craft shows in the decisions. How the problem was framed, what was tried, what was ruled out, and how precisely the work held up under real constraints. Show us the thinking behind the finish.
Exceptional results. Uncompromising character.
Ten commitments. One reputation.
- 01
Prove before you claim.
Show the work, context, thinking, and result.
- 02
Respect every craft.
Expertise in one discipline does not make you superior to another.
- 03
Bring value into the Circle.
Opportunities, knowledge, feedback, introductions, or useful perspective.
- 04
Protect confidentiality.
Private cases, numbers, client information, and member discussions stay private unless cleared.
- 05
Document learning.
What is not documented disappears with memory.
- 06
Disagree with the work, not the person.
Critique should increase quality, not status.
- 07
Recommend carefully.
A nomination carries your reputation.
- 08
Never fake proof.
Inflated numbers, stolen work, or misrepresented responsibility are disqualifying.
- 09
Stay teachable.
Rank is not immunity from feedback.
- 10
Leave the room sharper than you entered it.
Every interaction should compound value.
Two routes. The same high bar.
Proven
01Your work has made the case.
For people whose record demonstrates exceptional craft, impact, conduct, or contribution. Bring the work that sets you apart.
- A meaningful campaign or growth result
- A highly regarded body of creative work
- A system or process that materially improved outcomes
- Industry contribution with clear substance
- Repeated strong work, not one viral moment
Forged
02Potential, forged into proof.
For people developed closely under the Founder or within ADS.OPS. The training is demanding. Entry still depends on the evidence.
- Sponsorship opens the assessment path
- Sponsorship never grants membership
- The same evidence packet is required
- The same evaluation model applies
- The same council decision closes it
Sponsorship grants consideration. Never status.
Earn the place. Keep raising the bar.
- 01
Noticed
Work reaches someone who is already inside.
- 02
Nominated
A name is put forward with a reputation attached.
- 03
Assessed
Evidence packet reviewed against the Standard.
- 04
Invited
A private invitation, not a public announcement.
- 05
Admitted
A permanent Operator number is issued.
- 06
Active
Participation expectations are being met.
- 07
Contributing
Value is flowing back into the Circle.
- 08
Stewarding
The standard is being protected for others.
Statuses
Membership is professional, not employment-based. Changing jobs does not remove membership.
- Nominee
- Under consideration. Not a member.
- Apprentice
- In development. Not yet a full Operator.
- Operator
- Assessed and admitted.
- Active Operator
- Currently meeting participation expectations.
- Alumni Operator
- No longer active in the local operating circle, in good standing.
- Suspended
- Temporary status while an issue is reviewed.
- Revoked
- Membership removed.
Ranks differ. The Standard does not.
- Ranks measure stewardship and repeated excellence, not human worth.
- There is no public leaderboard.
- Rank is not immunity from feedback.
Operator
You earned your place.
The entry rank. It is the whole point of the system, not the bottom of a ladder.
Senior Operator
You do not only perform. You raise the standard around you.
Recognises repeated proof and demonstrated effect on other Operators.
Core Operator
You protect the standard.
Carries responsibility for who enters and what membership continues to mean.
Architect
RareYou build the systems that build Operators.
Recognises people who build durable systems, knowledge, or institutional capability that shapes ADS.OPS beyond their own craft. It is not awarded by points.
Founder
GovernanceA historical and governance role, not a rank.
The Founder can carry an Operator number. No one promotes to Founder, and the Founder cannot bypass assessment.
No one is bigger than the Standard.
- 01
Review cadence
A lightweight development check each quarter, a formal rank review every six months, and immediate review only for conduct or integrity issues.
- 02
Standards Council
An odd-numbered council of Core and Architect Operators alongside the Founder, formed as the group grows. Entry, promotion, suspension and revocation decisions require written evidence.
- 03
Founder protection rule
Key membership decisions move progressively from the Founder toward documented council review. The Founder can steward the system without owning the outcome.
Put your name behind exceptional.
A strong nomination carries a reputation. Show us the person whose judgment, execution, and character make the whole Circle stronger. Be selective. Be specific.
Proof over titles.
