What ADS.OPS collects, why, and what happens to it. Short, because there is not much of it.

Nominations by email // Introductions currently go directly to the Founder. The website does not collect or store the email draft.

What this site collects

This website has no analytics, no advertising tags, and no third-party tracking scripts. Fonts are self-hosted, so browsing these pages does not send a request to any external service.

Nomination details reach us through the nomination form when it is available, or through an email you choose to send. Opening an email link only creates a draft in your own email app; it does not submit anything to this website.

The nomination form

When you submit a nomination, the form sends the name and link of the person you are nominating, their craft, your reasoning, the example of proof you provide, your own name, your relationship to them, and your email address.

That submission is delivered through Resend as an email to the ADS.OPS nominations address. The website does not store nomination content in a database.

When the web form is enabled, Upstash Redis stores short-lived abuse-prevention counters. A keyed hash of the requesting IP address identifies its counter; the raw IP address and nomination content are not sent to Redis. The IP counter expires after 15 minutes and a separate site-wide counter expires after one hour.

Your email address is used to validate the nomination and to follow up if context is needed. It is not added to a mailing list.

Nominating someone else

A nomination is about another person. Please only submit information that is already public — a portfolio, a LinkedIn profile, published work — or that you have their agreement to share. Do not submit confidential client data, private numbers, or anything covered by an agreement you are bound by.

A nomination creates consideration, never status. Being nominated does not make anyone an ADS.OPS Operator and does not create a public record.

The Registry

The Registry publishes the name, portrait, primary craft, status, Operator number, and membership year of people who have earned their place in ADS.OPS. Nothing appears in the Registry without the Operator being an actual member.

Profile details are based on information supplied by the member or the Founder. Where work cannot be disclosed publicly, the Registry describes the practice without exposing client confidentiality.

An Operator can ask for their record to be corrected or withdrawn from the public Registry.

Retention

Nomination emails are kept for as long as they are useful to the assessment process and are deleted once they are not.

Requests

To ask about, correct, or delete information held about you, contact Yousef Abdo, Founder & Architect, at yousefabdomedia@gmail.com.
